Idea for Jamie Oliver's new book .................................................................................................................................................................................................... The brief for this project was to create a new book for Jamie Oliver. Firstly I had to come up with a theme and then design the book accordingly. I decided it would be in keeping with the Jamie Oliver brand for Jamie to travel to Japan and cook some simple Japanese recipes. Throughout his previous books Jamie has slowly grown with his audience. Now I thought it was time for him to create a really swish beautiful book that appealed to a slightly more sophisticated audience interested in trying new things. I designed the cover, some mock layouts of different pages and a CD, which would contain the recipes and instructions from the book so they could be printed out, eliminating the need to take the book food shopping or getting it messy when cooking.
