John and Frances Sorrell set up a scheme called The Young Design Programme. This is where a select few 2nd year Graphic Design and Spatial Design students from design courses around the country team up with local schools and professional designers to really show what a difference design can make. To create this identity I asked the children I was working with to draw the griffin from their old school logo in as many different ways as possible. I then used the children’s illustrations to create this new logo. (2007)
